Solar energy have not been properly utilized in Africa and which still at large amounts to wastage. We must make every effort to to make out planet safe and reduce CO2 emissions.
Africa is often considered and referred as the “Sun continent.” According to the “World Sunshine Map”, Africa receives many more hours of bright sunshine during the course of the year than any other continent of the Earth. Many of the sunniest places on the planet lie in Africa. Despite the large solar potential, penetration of solar power in Africa’s energy sector is still very low but that about to change.
The energy received from the sun in a day is enough to supply the world’s civilization with enough energy for the whole year if properly utilized.
